Embarcadero Media Foundation
A non-profit news organization established in 1979 reporting on the Midpeninsula and Tri-Valley. Currently owns seven publications: Palo Alto Online, The Almanac, Mountain View Voice, Redwood City Pulse, Danville San Ramon, Pleasanton Weekly, and Livermore Vine.
Strategic Branding
Actively worked on the redesign, re-brand, and restructuring of existing sales collateral and reporting items for better internal efficiency and client retention.
Media kit redesign
Focused on the feel-good community aspect across our 7 properties in the Bay Area. Updated imagery, stats, and look and feel of the overall media kit. Also, transitioned it into a Google slide from a static PDF so it would be easily customizable for sales reps.

New logo
Old logo
With the advent of an updated logo to match the transition of the company going from a for-profit to a non-profit foundation, the objective was to give a facelift to the outdated branding that used to represent the organization. A new logo was created along with also taking this re-branding opportunity to revamp the brand kit.

Sales Collateral G slide Transition
Reimagined 80+ crucial sales collateral pieces into Google slide templates. Converted to an 8.5 x 11 layout in editable slide format for reps to easily make edits and download as a PDF to send to clients.

Able to tailor each sales collateral to the liking of each rep and create custom contact sections.
Faster turnaround
Experienced faster turnaround times for sales collateral updates internally due to the easy-to-use Google slides user interface.
Optimized for clients
Built for clients in mind that request specific data and demographic requests. Also, easy to download as a PDF, JPEG, PPT for easy email send.

Content Creation and Brand Storytelling
Showcasing authentic neighborhood experiences through purposeful imagery.
This photography project was aimed to be included in the image and branding of the “hyper-local” feel. Since we are a local news organization and we were founded in Palo Alto, it was crucial to have in archives images of the surrounding community so our readers were reminded of our “boots on the ground” approach to reporting.
